[Italy's construction output fell 1.2% year-on-year in July, hitting a more than one-year low] ⑴ In July 2026, Italian construction output fell 1.2% year-on-year, compared to a 0.6% increase in the previous month, marking the first contraction in six months and the lowest reading since December 2024. ⑵ On a seasonally adjusted month-on-month basis, construction output fell 1.4%, a smaller decline than the 2.1% drop in June. ⑶ On average, construction output fell 0.8% from May to July compared to the previous three months. ⑷ In the first seven months of 2026, calendar-adjusted construction output grew by 1.3%.
