[National Energy Administration Official Attends 2026 G20 Energy Availability Ministerial Meeting] From September 14 to 16, the 2026 G20 Energy Availability Ministerial Meeting was held in Houston, USA. Wang Jianbo, Vice Minister of the National Energy Administration of China, attended the meeting and delivered a speech. China stated that, facing various global energy security challenges, it is essential to fully respect natural resource sovereignty and conduct resource cooperation on the basis of equality and mutual benefit; to fully respect the national conditions and resource endowments of each country and allow them to independently choose their energy development models; and to practice genuine multilateralism, create an open, fair, and non-discriminatory cooperation environment, jointly maintain the stability of the global energy industry chain and supply chain, and work together towards a safer, greener, more inclusive, and sustainable energy future. The meeting adopted outcomes including the "G20 Energy Ministers' Statement on Promoting Clean Cooking Accessibility," the "G20 Water Reuse Initiative," and the "G20 Energy Availability Working Group Communiqué on Key Minerals." During the meeting, China also exchanged views with delegations from member states such as the United Kingdom. (National Energy Administration)
