AI company Anthropic's initial public offering (IPO) is progressing steadily and is poised to become the largest IPO in history, targeting a valuation of approximately $2 trillion. If successful, this would surpass the previous IPO record set by SpaceX. According to the company's disclosed projections, Anthropic's annualized revenue will exceed $100 billion by 2026, a significant upward revision from the $65 billion target estimated in July of this year. Recently, CEO Dario Amodei publicly called for a slowdown in the development of some cutting-edge AI models, but this statement has not affected the company's IPO process. Sources familiar with the matter indicate that Anthropic could release its financial documents as early as a few weeks ago and officially list as early as November. However, these plans may still be adjusted due to market fluctuations and other uncertainties. Currently, the company is collaborating with leading investment banks such as Morgan Stanley and Goldman Sachs and is close to finalizing a $15 billion revolving credit facility to fund the IPO and subsequent business expansion. According to investor expectations, Anthropic's computing power will reach 5 gigawatts by the end of this year, and this number will double in 2025, at which time its computing power will be comparable to that of OpenAI.
