[Gansu Completes Live-Line Insulator Replacement for China's Highest Voltage Transmission Line] The State Grid Gansu Electric Power Company announced on the 18th that it successfully completed mechanized live-line replacement of tension glass insulators on the ±1100 kV Jiquan line (Gansu section) in Shandan County, Gansu Province. This marks the first time Gansu Province has conducted insulator replacement work on a transmission line of China's highest voltage level under energized conditions. (Xinhua)
