[Huawei Releases Next-Generation AI Computing Infrastructure] At the Huawei Connect conference held recently in Shanghai, Huawei released its next-generation AI computing infrastructure, the Ascend 960 supernode. This computing infrastructure upgrades the number of computing cards from 1024 in the previous generation to 4096, and for the first time adopts a key technology called "NPO" (also known as near-package optics), which can be used to meet the needs of training and inference for trillions of models.
