[World Organization for Public Scientific Literacy Officially Launched] On September 20, the World Organization for Public Scientific Literacy officially launched at the opening ceremony of the 2026 World Conference on the Promotion of Public Scientific Literacy in Beijing. The World Organization for Public Scientific Literacy is an international science and technology organization supported and initiated by the China Association for Science and Technology. Leveraging the resources and achievements accumulated over many years of organizing the World Conference on the Promotion of Public Scientific Literacy, as well as its international partner network, it was registered and established in Beijing this June. Currently, it has 32 founding members from 21 countries in Asia, Europe, South America, Africa, and Oceania. (Xinhua)
