[US May Deliver Key Weapons to Allies by Up to 5 Years] The US has reportedly warned its allies that deliveries of certain key weapons could be delayed by up to five years due to depletion of some of their munitions and ammunition stockpiles. Reports indicate that Germany has requested the US to expedite deliveries of Tomahawk cruise missiles and Typhon missile systems, but manufacturers are unlikely to fulfill orders within the next five years. It is estimated that the US used more than half of its Patriot missiles, one-third of its Tomahawk missiles, and nearly half of its THAAD anti-missile system interceptors in the Iran conflict. A report released this month by the Congressional Budget Office stated that since June 2025, the US interceptor stockpile has been depleted by one-half to two-thirds, and even with increased production, rebuilding the US interceptor stockpile would take at least five years.
