According to the latest auction data released by Nord Pool, the Nordic electricity exchange, the electricity auction price in the Nordic region on the following day surged by 507% from €8.59/MWh the previous trading day, climbing to €52.11/MWh, an increase of over 500%. Simultaneously, the electricity price on the German Epex Spot exchange also saw a significant increase, rising by 344% to reach €96.60/MWh. This dramatic price fluctuation is likely related to recent changes in weather conditions in the Nordic region, fluctuations in the electricity supply and demand pattern, and the phased changes in the overall European energy supply.
