On the evening of September 20th, Zhipu's MaaS platform officially announced that it will soon launch a data content non-retention function, providing stricter data privacy protection for enterprise and developer users. Zhipu also clarified that this function does not mean that data will not be retained in all scenarios. Functions such as Batch API and File API, which require long-term storage of tasks or files on the platform, are not covered by this new feature. Furthermore, if laws and regulations explicitly require data retention, or if it is for the purpose of investigating suspected violations or abuse of platform services, the platform may retain the corresponding data for 30 days or longer in accordance with relevant regulations.
