[2026 National Green Computing Facilities Recommendation Launched] The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) and four other departments recently jointly issued the "Notice on Organizing the 2026 National Green Computing Facilities Recommendation Work," initiating the recommendation process for national green computing facilities. The "Notice" clarifies the specific requirements and procedures for the national green computing facilities recommendation work and releases the "2026 National Green Computing Facilities Evaluation Index System." The new "Indicator System" includes four aspects: energy utilization level, carbon emission management level, water resource utilization level, and computing power resource utilization level. In terms of evaluation content, new indicators such as unit computing power energy efficiency, carbon utilization efficiency, digital carbon management, and product carbon footprint have been included, further emphasizing energy efficiency and carbon efficiency leadership. In terms of evaluation scoring, the scores for key indicators such as carbon utilization efficiency, water resource utilization efficiency, renewable energy power ratio, and rack resource utilization level have been increased, further emphasizing the overall requirements of green, low-carbon, intensive, and circular development.
