[IDC: Global Ear-Wear Market Shipments Reach 96.13 Million Units in Q2 2026, Open-Back Headphones Up 35% but Show Significant Internal Divergence] (1) According to a report by International Data Corporation (IDC), global ear-wear market shipments reached 96.13 million units in the second quarter of 2026, a year-on-year increase of 5.4%. (2) Among them, open-back headphones shipped 12.33 million units, a year-on-year increase of 35.0%, leading the growth rate of all categories. (3) However, compared with the first quarter, the year-on-year growth rate of open-back headphone shipments slowed down, and there was significant internal divergence. (4) By type: clip-on headphones increased by 82.2%, ear-hook headphones decreased by 5.1%, and neckband headphones increased by 0.9%.
