[China Achieves System Integration and Export of High-Speed Railway Turnouts to Africa] On the 21st, a batch of high-speed railway turnouts manufactured by China Railway Shanqiao Group Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of China Railway Industry Corporation, departed from Qinhuangdao, Hebei Province, bound for Morocco. This marks a significant step forward in exporting China's high-speed railway turnout manufacturing technology to Africa through system integration, paving the way for Chinese railway turnout technology to reach the world. The exported turnouts will be used in the construction of the Qunetra-Marrakech high-speed railway in Morocco. The Qunetra-Marrakech high-speed railway is 430 kilometers long, designed for a speed of 350 kilometers per hour, and is an important component of Morocco's north-south transportation corridor. The project primarily serves the transportation needs for the 2030 FIFA World Cup in Morocco and is expected to open to traffic by the end of 2029. (Xinhua)
