Russia has recently introduced a new policy adjusting export taxes for agricultural products: from September 1 to December 31, 2026, export tariffs on wheat, barley, and corn will be set at zero. This measure aims to further tap into the export growth potential of the country's agricultural sector. Simultaneously, Russia has also implemented temporary control measures on export tariffs for sunflower oil and sunflower seed meal: until the end of this year, the maximum export tariff for sunflower oil will not exceed 7,748 rubles per ton, while the maximum export tariff for sunflower seed meal will be set at 312 rubles per ton.
