[ANA Suffers Information Breach Against Approximately 37,800 Customers, Including Passport Numbers] ⑴ Japan's All Nippon Airways (ANA) announced on the 30th that its passenger service system had been illegally accessed, resulting in the leakage of information on approximately 37,800 customers. ⑵ It is reported that the information of about 1,700 of these individuals includes passport numbers, nationalities, and other details. ⑶ The affected individuals are some passengers who booked ANA-operated flights between August 10, 2023, and September 23, 2026. The leaked information includes names, reservation numbers, flight dates, and flight routes; credit card information and PINs were not compromised. ⑷ According to ANA, Amadeus, a company located in Spain, detected the illegal access on September 24th.
