[Bolivia Declares State of Emergency Due to El Niño] On October 31, local time, Bolivian President Rodrigo Paz declared a state of emergency in the country due to the El Niño phenomenon. Paz stated that the government will do everything in its power to mitigate the damage caused by the current drought affecting multiple regions and the potential subsequent flooding.
