[Russia Says Oreshki Ceasefire Ended] Russian Human Rights Commissioner Yana Lantratova announced on social media on November 1 that the "silence regime" in the Oreshki humanitarian operation zone has ended. The regime was in effect from October 27 to November 1. Lantratova stated that both Russia and Ukraine adhered to all obligations during the Oreshki ceasefire, which made it possible for local residents to receive assistance and ensured the safe evacuation of those who voluntarily left. During the ceasefire, under the coordination of US First Lady Melania Trump, Russia cooperated with Dmytro Lubenets, the Human Rights Commissioner of the Verkhovna Rada (parliament) of Ukraine. She said that all parties are currently working together to continue humanitarian aid operations, and the residents remaining in Oreshki still need assistance. (Xinhua)
