[HSBC: US Treasury Expected to Maintain Current Quarter's Interest-Bearing Treasury Auction Size, But May Adjust Future Issuance Guidance] (1) HSBC analyst Diraji Narulla stated in a report that the US Treasury is not expected to adjust the size of its interest-bearing Treasury auctions for the November-January quarter, but may revise its future issuance guidance to pave the way for adjusting the Treasury supply structure next year. (2) The US Treasury will release its quarterly refinancing announcement on Wednesday, announcing the specific issuance structure. (3) HSBC expects that starting in May 2027, the US Treasury may slightly reduce the issuance of 20-year and 30-year Treasury bonds, while increasing the issuance of 2- to 5-year Treasury bonds.
