[Indonesian President's Chief of Staff Dismissed for Allegedly Eavesdropping on President and Others] On November 4th local time, Indonesian Presidential Spokesperson Prasetio Hadi announced that President Prabowo Subianto had dismissed his Chief of Staff, Listio. This followed the arrest of Listio and two senior police officers on November 3rd on suspicion of illegal wiretapping. According to the spokesperson, the former National Police Chief is suspected of involvement. Hadi stated that those involved are suspected of wiretapping the president, government ministers, and other personnel. This behavior may constitute treason and poses a threat to national security.
