[Greenland Parliament Approves Security Agreement with US] On November 3, the Greenland Parliament, a self-governing territory of Denmark, voted to approve a security agreement between the United States, Denmark, and its autonomous territory of Greenland. The meeting was briefly interrupted due to a dispute between the Greenlandic government and the opposition. In September of this year, US President Trump, Danish Prime Minister Frederiksen, and Greenlandic Prime Minister Jens-Frederik Nielsen signed the agreement. This agreement paves the way for a further expansion of the US military presence in Greenland. The arrangements outlined in the agreement have caused anxiety and helplessness among the Greenlandic people. (CCTV International News)
