[Estonia's Industrial Output Rises 6.0% Year-on-Year in September, Hitting a 17-Month High] ⑴ In September 2026, Estonia's industrial output increased by 6.0% year-on-year, further accelerating from the seven-month high of 4.5% in the previous month. ⑵ The latest data represents the highest level since April 2025, mainly driven by a rebound in manufacturing activity, with manufacturing growth at 3.6%, higher than August's 1.1%. ⑶ Among these sectors, beverage manufacturing (9.9%, previous -9.9%), garment manufacturing (22%, previous -19.0%), leather and related products (40.9%, previous -6.0%), timber and wood products (3.4%, previous -0.6%), and chemicals and chemical products (0.3%, previous -0.7%) all showed significant recovery. ⑷ Meanwhile, the growth rate of mining and quarrying output slowed to 7.8%, compared to 25.3% in the previous month; the growth rate of electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply fell to 51.4%, compared to 56.9% in the previous month. (5) On a month-on-month basis, industrial output grew by 0.3% in September, a slowdown from the revised 4.1% in the previous month.
