International oil prices rose on the 5th. On the New York Mercantile Exchange, the price of light sweet crude oil futures for December delivery rose $2.40 to settle at $90.52 per barrel, a gain of 2.72%. On the London ICE Futures Exchange, the price of Brent crude oil futures for January delivery rose $3.67 to settle at $98.29 per barrel, a gain of 3.88%. All statistics are based on the closing prices of the day.
