The emergency response headquarters for the playground collapse of Zijiang School in Shaoyang City issued a situation report on October 18. At about 23:02 on October 17, 2025, the west wall and part of the playground of the main campus of Zijiang School in Shaoyang City collapsed, and part of the west corner of the Boxue Building (teaching building) was damaged. Fortunately, there were no casualties. After the incident, the municipal party committee and government attached great importance to it and quickly organized the housing and construction, emergency, education, public security, fire protection and other relevant departments to rush to the scene to deal with it as soon as possible. At present, relevant work is being carried out in an orderly manner, and the specific cause is under investigation.
