[Chen Dong Has Stayed in Orbit for Over 400 Days; Shenzhou-20 Crew Expected to Break Record for Longest Stay in Orbit] This morning (October 30th), a press conference for the Shenzhou-21 manned spaceflight mission was held at the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center. The spokesperson announced that the Shenzhou-20 astronaut crew has been in orbit for 188 days, potentially breaking the record for the longest stay by a Chinese astronaut crew. All operations are progressing smoothly, and the three astronauts are in good condition. Commander Chen Dong became the first Chinese astronaut to stay in orbit for over 400 days, having completed six extravehicular activities (EVAs), making him the Chinese astronaut with the most EVAs to date.
