[National Bureau of Statistics: Operating Revenue of Large-Scale Cultural and Related Industries Increased by 7.9% in the First Three Quarters] According to a survey of 81,000 large-scale cultural and related industries nationwide, in the first three quarters of 2025, cultural enterprises achieved operating revenue of RMB 10,958.9 billion, which is 7.9% higher than the same period of the previous year on a comparable basis [1]. Among them, the 16 sub-categories of industries with more obvious characteristics of new cultural business formats [2] achieved operating revenue of RMB 4,886 billion, which is 14.1% higher than the same period of the previous year, 6.2 percentage points faster than all large-scale cultural enterprises. By industry type, cultural manufacturing achieved operating revenue of RMB 3,076.6 billion, which is 2.3% higher than the same period of the previous year; cultural wholesale and retail industry achieved RMB 1,819.7 billion, which is 5.5% higher; and cultural service industry achieved RMB 6,062.6 billion, which is 11.9% higher. By field, the core cultural field [3] achieved operating revenue of RMB 7,421.6 billion, which is 11.5% higher than the same period of the previous year; and cultural related fields achieved RMB 3,537.3 billion, which is 1.2% higher.
