[Hubei Province's Number of High-Tech Artificial Intelligence Enterprises Exceeds 800] On October 29th, the Hubei Provincial Government Information Office held a press conference on "Smart Hubei, Empowering a New Future—Hubei Province's Progress in Promoting the Development of the Artificial Intelligence Industry," introducing the highlights and related progress of the industry's development. A representative from the Hubei Provincial Department of Economy and Information Technology stated that the scale of Hubei's artificial intelligence industry has continued to climb, with a compound annual growth rate of nearly 40% over the past five years. This improvement in industry capacity is inseparable from the aggregation and growth of key enterprises. As of now, the province has 1,215 artificial intelligence enterprises, a 49% increase compared to last year. Among them, the number of high-tech enterprises has exceeded 800. "From January to September this year, the industry's scale exceeded 110 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of nearly 30%, ranking among the top in central China, and is expected to exceed 150 billion yuan for the whole year."
