The research points out that FWA is showing strong momentum, driven by major markets such as India and the United States, and is becoming the fastest-growing broadband access technology. Omdia predicts that the number of global FWA subscribers will grow from 71 million in 2024 to 150 million in 2030, at which point 5G FWA will account for 88% of all FWA connections. The 5G FWA market is expected to expand at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 23%, driving total FWA service revenue to $46 billion by 2030, with high-end 5G services gaining a larger share of the market.
