[A-Share Market Close: Major A-Share Indices Fall, 4,100 Stocks Decline] The three major A-share indices all fell today. At the close, the Shanghai Composite Index fell 0.73%, the Shenzhen Component Index fell 1.16%, the ChiNext Index fell 1.84%, and the Beijing 50 Index fell 1.3%. The total turnover of the Shanghai, Shenzhen, and Beijing stock exchanges was 2.4643 trillion yuan, an increase of 173.6 billion yuan compared to the previous day. A total of 4,100 stocks declined. In terms of sectors and themes, energy metals, steel, quantum technology, batteries, wind power equipment, port and shipping, and phosphorus chemicals sectors led the gains; while CPO, PET copper foil, coal mining and processing, gaming, lithography machines, and securities sectors led the declines.
