[China's Central Bank: Supporting the Issuance of Green Financial Products in the Global Market to Provide Global Investors with More Chinese Green Assets] On October 31, Wang Xin, Director of the Research Bureau of the People's Bank of China (PBOC), stated at a press conference held by the State Council Information Office that the PBOC will focus on the following aspects to support the development of green service trade: First, promoting the application of green finance transformation financial standards and supporting innovative financing methods such as credit, bonds, and equity; second, encouraging financial institutions to increase financing support for productive service links such as R&D design, logistics and maintenance, carbon emission certification and evaluation, and waste resource recycling, and reducing the financing threshold and costs for asset-light green service trade enterprises; third, supporting the issuance of green financial products in the global financial market to provide global investors with more Chinese green assets, thereby empowering the innovative development of green service trade through the two-way opening up of the financial industry.
