[A-Share Midday Review: Beijing Stock Exchange 50 Index Surges Over 3% in Half-Day Trading, AI Applications Strengthen] The three major indices all fell in the morning session. As of midday, the Shanghai Composite Index was down 0.63%, the Shenzhen Component Index was down 0.62%, the ChiNext Index was down 1.49%, and the Beijing Stock Exchange 50 Index was up 3.43%. The total turnover of the Shanghai, Shenzhen, and Beijing stock exchanges reached 1.5792 trillion yuan in the morning session, an increase of 20 billion yuan compared to the previous day. More than 3,800 stocks rose across the market. In terms of sectors and themes, film and television, AI corpus, innovative drugs, batteries, Hainan Free Trade Zone, and gaming sectors led the gains; while memory chips, insurance, CPO, rare earth permanent magnets, coal mining and processing, and controlled nuclear fusion sectors led the declines.
