The White House announced comprehensive restrictions and entry restrictions on five countries: Burkina Faso, Mali, Niger, South Sudan, and Syria, as well as individuals holding travel documents issued by the Palestinian Authority; comprehensive restrictions and entry restrictions were also imposed on Laos and Sierra Leone, where partial restrictions had already been implemented; the ban on non-immigrant visas was lifted, while the suspension of entry for Turkmen nationals as immigrants was maintained; and partial restrictions and entry restrictions were also imposed on 15 other countries: Angola, Antigua and Barbuda, Benin, Ivory Coast, Dominica, Gabon, Gambia, Malawi, Mauritania, Nigeria, Senegal, Tanzania, Tonga, Zambia, and Zimbabwe.
