U.S. Energy Secretary Chris Wright stated that Washington is prepared to sell Venezuelan oil at $45 per barrel. The report notes that before the U.S. kidnapped Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro, Caracas received approximately $31 per barrel of oil. Wright said the proceeds from the sale of Venezuelan oil will be held in a U.S. account in Qatar.
