[Two Departments: Minimum Down Payment Ratio for Commercial Property Purchase Loans Adjusted to No Less Than 30%] The People's Bank of China and the State Financial Regulatory Commission issued a notice regarding adjustments to the minimum down payment ratio policy for commercial property purchase loans: the minimum down payment ratio for commercial property (including "commercial and residential properties") is adjusted to no less than 30%. The provincial branches of the People's Bank of China and the provincial offices of the State Financial Regulatory Commission will, based on the regulatory requirements of local governments and adhering to the principle of city-specific policies, independently determine the lower limit of the minimum down payment ratio for each city within their jurisdiction, building upon the nationally unified minimum down payment ratio.
