At 4:00 PM on January 17th, a cable car at the Lanzhou Longshan International Ski Resort in Shichuan Town, Gaolan County, Lanzhou City, Gansu Province, stopped due to a sudden power outage. Power was restored after 20 minutes of emergency repairs, but upon restarting, the cable car's drive gearbox jammed, causing the cable car to stop again, trapping 104 tourists. Following the incident, Gaolan County organized a multi-department rescue operation. All trapped tourists have been rescued without injury.
