【A-share midday review: Shanghai Composite Index rises nearly 1% in the morning session, green power, port and shipping sectors rebound collectively】 (1) The three major A-share indices showed mixed performance in the morning session. As of midday, the Shanghai Composite Index rose 0.95%, the Shenzhen Component Index rose 0.26%, the ChiNext Index fell 0.79%, and the Beizheng 50 Index rose 1.02%. The total turnover of the Shanghai, Shenzhen and Beijing stock exchanges in the morning session was RMB 1.3245 trillion, a decrease of RMB 144.5 billion from the previous day. More than 4,500 stocks rose in the market. (2) The green power sector performed actively, with more than 10 stocks such as Shaoneng Shares and Tuori New Energy hitting the daily limit. The National Data Bureau reiterated the supporting role of green power, which boosted the sentiment of the sector. CRO leader WuXi AppTec rose more than 5% after the release of its performance, which led to Minova and Biocytogen hitting the daily limit. The port and shipping sector rose during the session, with China Merchants Energy and China Merchants Shipping hitting the daily limit. In addition, the military, non-ferrous metals and sports industry sectors also rebounded. (3) Affected by the fluctuating US-Iran situation, the oil and gas sector followed the decline in international oil prices, with many stocks such as Intercontinental Oil & Gas and Tongyuan Petroleum experiencing pullbacks. The photovoltaic equipment sector was mostly affected by fund liquidation, with stocks such as Maiwei and Junda falling sharply.
