The Abu Dhabi Media Office stated that an Egyptian citizen was killed and four others sustained minor injuries during the evacuation of personnel from the site. The office added that the facility suffered severe damage and assessments are currently underway. The Habshan gas processing complex is operated by Abu Dhabi National Oil Company. This facility is one of the world's largest of its kind, with a daily processing capacity of 6.1 billion standard cubic feet.
