According to data from the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), in the week ending March 31, speculators increased their net short positions in 5-year U.S. Treasury futures on the Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT) by 138,404 contracts, reaching 1,586,840 contracts.
