Due to escalating tensions in the Middle East related to Iran, the U.S. Army's 82nd Airborne Division has cancelled its planned All-Army Week event in 2026, originally scheduled to be held at Fort Freedom (formerly Fort Bragg). The division will be deployed to the Middle East. The U.S. Army stated that this decision was based on actual operational needs.
