According to Iran's Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) on the 4th, a spokesperson for the central headquarters of the Iranian Armed Forces, Hatem Anbia, declared that Iraq, a "friendly neighbor," would not be affected by any restrictions imposed by Iran in the Strait of Hormuz. The spokesperson reiterated that these restrictions were only aimed at "hostile countries."
