[Mass Kidnapping Situation in Nigeria: Over 150 People Kidnapped] On April 4th local time, a spokesperson for the Zamfara State Police in Nigeria confirmed that a group of heavily armed men stormed the Kulfa community in the Bukuyum Local Government District of the state that afternoon. The men opened fire, forcing many residents to flee their homes, and numerous others were kidnapped. Local council chairman Umar Abubakar Faro revealed that the number of kidnapped individuals exceeded 150, mostly women and children. Police stated that a joint team comprised of police, military, and other security agencies is currently pursuing the attackers.
