[Attack on Police in Boston Leaves Multiple Officers Injured] On April 4th, local time, an attack on police occurred near Northeastern University in Boston, resulting in the death of the suspect and injuries to several officers. The Boston Police Chief stated that at approximately 10:44 AM, police received a call from a man claiming that four armed individuals were attempting to harm him. Officers responded to the scene. Police revealed that the man was mentally unstable and attacked paramedics and one officer at the scene. An officer then shot the man. He received emergency medical treatment but ultimately died from his injuries. It is understood that the officers and paramedics who were attacked sustained injuries of varying degrees and were transported to nearby hospitals for treatment.
