According to Haikou Customs, the "buy and pick up immediately" and "guarantee-based pick-up" policies for duty-free shopping on Hainan Island have been in effect for three years. As of April 3, the cumulative amount spent on purchases made using the "buy and pick up immediately" method reached 10.618 billion yuan, with 11.7273 million items and 5.3463 million shoppers. Regarding the "guarantee-based pick-up" method, the cumulative amount spent reached 177 million yuan, with 1,673 items and 1,667 shoppers.
