The first Afghanistan-Central Asia Consultative Conference opened in Kabul on Sunday. Hosted by the Afghan Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the conference brought together senior diplomats from the five Central Asian countries to discuss cooperation in the political, economic, and security fields. Afghan Foreign Ministry Deputy Spokesperson Hafez Zia Ahmed stated that senior representatives from Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, and Kazakhstan participated in the conference alongside Afghan officials. The conference is expected to cover political, economic, and security issues, as well as explore ways to strengthen trade, promote transit connectivity, and expand cooperation.
