South Korean Presidential Political Affairs Secretary Hong Ik-pyo said in an interview with MBN cable television on Sunday that South Korea may formulate another additional budget in the second half of the year if the oil supply disruptions caused by the war with Iran continue. Hong Ik-pyo stated, "We cautiously predict that if the situation in the Middle East continues to deteriorate, additional budgets may be needed in the second half of this year, beyond the existing budget."
