[Malaysia's Petronas Tanker Passes Strait of Hormuz Without Paying Iranian Tolls] (1) Petronas, the Malaysian national oil company, said a tanker chartered by its subsidiary has passed through the Strait of Hormuz and is en route to the company's refinery in Pengerang, Johor. (2) The tanker, carrying Iraqi crude oil and chartered by the trading arm Petco, is currently in the Gulf of Oman. (3) The vessel is one of seven Malaysian tankers granted permission to pass through the strait without paying the tolls that Iran typically charges for passing ships.
