[my country's First 180,000-Cubic-Meter Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) Carrier Completed] Today (August 8th), my country's first domestically designed and built 180,000-cubic-meter LNG carrier was successfully completed in Nantong, Jiangsu Province, and is ready for delivery. Built by my country Merchants Shipbuilding's Haimen base, the 180,000-cubic-meter LNG carrier is 298.8 meters long and 48 meters wide. It adopts a dual-fuel low-speed propulsion system and boasts advantages such as low evaporation rate and high environmental performance, marking a significant breakthrough for Chinese shipbuilders in the field of large-scale clean energy vessel construction. It is also currently the largest LNG carrier built and completed in my country. (CCTV News)
