[Various Policies Concentrate on Improving the Development Environment for SMEs] Today, the China Center for Promoting the Development of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) released the "2025 SME Development Environment Assessment Report." The report selected 50 typical cities as assessment targets, evaluating indicators such as market environment, legal environment, financing environment, innovation environment, and policy environment. The results show that the overall development environment for SMEs in my country is improving year by year. The gap in development environment between cities and regions continues to narrow, market access barriers are being broken down at an accelerated pace, the construction of a unified national market is deepening, and the balance of regional development is gradually improving. Questionnaire surveys show that the overall satisfaction rating of SMEs with the development environment has increased from 74.60 points in 2020 to 84.54 points in 2025. Various policies are concentrating on stabilizing employment, businesses, markets, and expectations, and the optimization of the SME development environment continues to show results. (CCTV News)
