Security concerns, high insurance rates, and operational restrictions mean that there won't be much additional energy transport through the Strait of Hormuz. (2) Liquefied natural gas (LNG) cargoes may be an exception, as recent news indicates that LNG carriers are fully loaded and ready to set sail in a short time. (3) Although oil prices fell due to the ceasefire news, the team believes that this rapid correction may be excessive. They expect the average price of Brent crude to be US$98 per barrel and the average price of WTI to be US$92.50 per barrel in the second quarter.
