[Spanish Embassy in Iran to Reopen] Spanish Foreign Minister Ángel Alvarez announced today (April 9) that the Spanish Embassy in Iran will reopen immediately. The Spanish Foreign Ministry has instructed Ambassador Benedetto to return to Tehran, the Iranian capital. Alvarez stated that his decision was based on the two-week ceasefire agreement reached between the US and Iran, and aimed at promoting peace in all aspects. Due to the escalation of the Middle East conflict, Spanish diplomats temporarily withdrew from the embassy in Iran on March 7. (CCTV International News)
