[Five River-Sea Intermodal Berths in Qinzhou Port Area of Beibu Gulf Port Pass Completion Acceptance] Today, reporters learned from Guangxi Beibu Gulf International Port Group that the renovation projects of Berths No. 1 and No. 2 in the Dalangping South Operation Area of Qinzhou Port Area, as well as Berths No. 1 to No. 3 in the Dalangping Operation Area and their berthing facilities, have passed completion acceptance. This is the second batch of berths to be completed after the first batch of six berths in Qinzhou Port Area passed renovation acceptance, marking a new stage in the construction of the Pinglu Canal river-sea intermodal transport system. The five berths that passed acceptance this time have a total shoreline length of 1467.5 meters, a designed annual throughput capacity of 12.705 million tons, and include one 70,000-ton roll-on/roll-off berth, two 50,000-ton multipurpose berths, and two 70,000-ton general-purpose berths. Based on the original berths, the renovation focused on optimizing berthing facilities such as anti-surge plates and rubber fenders, effectively improving the safety of ship berthing and operational efficiency, allowing the five berths to fully meet the berthing needs of inland waterway vessels of 1,000 tons and above.
