[Israeli Security Cabinet Reportedly Approves New Settlements in West Bank] Sources in Israel have learned that the Israeli Security Cabinet approved the construction of 34 new settlements in the West Bank at a meeting two weeks ago. Since the current Israeli government came to power in 2022, the total number of settlements established through construction or ratification has reached 103. Reports indicate that these new settlements may include entirely new settlements as well as the ratification of previously illegal outposts, distributed throughout the West Bank. According to Israeli sources, Israel Defense Forces Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir expressed serious concern at the meeting. He pointed out that approving the new settlements will further exacerbate the already severe manpower pressure on the Defense Forces. (CCTV News)
